It had started out innocently enough for Kiera. A tube of lip gloss here, a Gatorade there, small things that wouldn’t be noticed. The thrill of concealing the item of choice and casually making her way out of a shop to victory was fun. As Kiera grew older though, so did her desire to chase that thrill. Soon she was graduating up to higher ticket items, lip gloss had turned into expensive sunglasses or a CD player. The bigger the score, the more she got out of pulling off her little heists. She eventually recognized her kleptomania, but was too hooked to stop herself by that point. Besides, the real crime was the high cost it took to look beautiful and stylish wasn’t it? Now in her 20’s Kiera had leveled up to more daring escapades. She’d never been caught in all her years of theft and that only emboldened her to continue. Mrs Toad and Her New Daughter Trio - Makoto Naegi, Sayaka Maizono, Kaede Akamatsu Mrs Toad Makeovers RP [Atomic]: It was a pretty normal day in summer, aside from a popular new singer being in town during her most recent tour. The singer was Mrs Toad, who was well known for her seemingly toad-like costume and very beautiful voice and performances. Although she had finished her shows for the day, a group of students from Hope's Peak Academy were walking towards her stage with VIP passes on hand for their new summer jobs there. They were Makoto Naegi the Ultimate Lucky Student, Kaede Akamatsu the Ultimate Pianist, and a rather excited looking Sayaka Maizono the Ultimate Pop Sensation. Sayaka giggled as she led her friends through the backstage areas, saying "I still can't believe Mrs Toad let us take jobs helping her out with the new tour! I don’t know what urge sent me there that evening, but I’m glad I went. They were tearing down Shady Maple Apartments - my first apartment. I pulled over to the side just to see the old building one more time and reminisce. The property was sealed off by a chain-link fence where construction - or rather demolition - workers, along with their bulldozers and backhoes, were all about the building complex. Already the car port was collapsed and the parking lot was being torn apart. Dust drifted into the air along with sounds of the ongoing demolition. It was a surreal sight and I found myself wondering what had become of the tenants. Like old Mr. Furgas... that man would talk to you for hours if you didn’t get away in time. Or the lady with all the cats that lived right below me. I had moved out years ago when I got a better job, and now I lived in a townhouse. But I found myself thinking back to the days when I was still struggling to make ends meet and of all the memories I had made.
